Run BTS! 2.0 premieres free online, marks BTS’ full-group comeback

The globally loved BTS variety show is making a much-awaited comeback with Run BTS! 2.0, giving fans fresh content after nearly three years of hiatus.

The rebooted show will premiere on April 7, 2026, marking the return of all seven members RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook following their military service and comeback with the album Arirang. The new season promises the same chaotic energy, humour, and competitive spirit that made the original series a fan favourite, while also introducing updated concepts and games.

When and where to watch

Unlike many K-pop shows that are locked behind paid subscriptions, Run BTS! 2.0 will be widely accessible to fans worldwide. Episodes are set to stream for free on BTS’ official YouTube channel, BANGTAN TV, as well as on the fan community platform Weverse. This ensures that ARMY across the globe, including India, can tune in easily without needing an OTT subscription.

The first episode premiered at 9 pm KST (5:30 pm IST), and new episodes are expected to drop weekly, continuing the show’s long-standing Tuesday release tradition.

The return of Run BTS! is closely tied to the group’s larger comeback era. Following their Arirang album release and large-scale concert events including a global livestream on Netflix the variety show serves as a more relaxed, behind-the-scenes extension of BTS’ group dynamic.

For longtime fans, the show offers a nostalgic return to the group’s playful chemistry, with episodes typically featuring games, missions, and challenges that highlight each member’s personality. For newer audiences, Run BTS! 2.0 acts as an easy entry point into BTS’ off-stage charm, away from high-production performances.

All about the show

Ultimately, the revival of the series reinforces BTS’ effort to reconnect with fans in a more casual and interactive format after their hiatus. With free accessibility, weekly episodes, and OT7 moments, Run BTS! 2.0 is set to become a major highlight of the group’s 2026 comeback phase.

Currently, the team is on the world tour with their comeback album, V has been posting amusing clicks from their concert in Japan. Be it the behind the scenes glimpses to their daily stroll in the city, fans have been eagerly waiting for each update.
