Television actor Gaurav Khanna has officially landed in Cape Town for the shoot of the much-awaited stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. The actor, who recently grabbed headlines after his successful reality show journey, shared a series of fun-filled pictures from South Africa, giving fans a glimpse of the camaraderie among contestants before the action begins.

In the photos shared on social media, Gaurav was seen posing alongside internet sensation Orhan Awatramani, actor Karan Wahi, and actress Jasmin Bhasin, among several other contestants. The cheerful selfies and group pictures quickly went viral online, with fans expressing excitement about the upcoming season and the contestant lineup.
The new season of Khatron Ke Khiladi is being hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty and is set against the scenic yet challenging landscapes of Cape Town, South Africa. Known for its high-octane stunts, adventurous tasks and fear-based challenges, the reality show is returning after a brief gap with a fresh mix of television stars, influencers and former contestants. Reports suggest that this season may feature an “old versus new” format, bringing together experienced contestants and fresh faces.
Gaurav’s participation in the show has already generated significant buzz among viewers. Ahead of his departure, the actor had also visited Mumbai’s famous Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings before beginning his adventurous journey. Reports further claimed that his family, especially his mother, was initially worried about him joining the dangerous reality series because of the physically demanding stunts involved.

Earlier, while speaking to mid-day, Gaurav Khanna got candid about his excitement for the show, “Contrary to what people believe, this is not only about physicality. I’m someone who loves learning new things.” He also shared how it was his Celebrity MasterChef`s co-star Faisu aka Faisal Shaikh who pushed him to do Khatron Ke Khiladi while he was sceptical that he should have done the show few years back.
