Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin on home intrusion

“Dealing with the trauma with jokes and fun,” Palvin said on the red carpet in an interview with E! News. Sprouse added, “I thought it was funny.”

The actor explained that humour is how they process difficult moments. “This is actually to my detriment, but I’m really not a ‘too soon’ guy,” he said. “We’re laughing about things the moment they happen.” He added, “You’ve got to have levity in life. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and there was no more violence than what happened, so it’s all okay.”

Palvin echoed the sentiment, saying, “We’re just happy to be here to watch the movie.”

In another interaction with Entertainment Tonight, the couple was asked about the home intrusion and how they were coping. Dylan, in his trademark humour, mimicked how he fought off the intruder and demonstrated some moves. Afterward, he said, “Enough said.”

Dylan Sprouse reportedly confronted an alleged intruder at his Hollywood Hills home in the early hours of Friday, holding him down until police arrived. While the investigation is ongoing, the incident reportedly left the actor shaken.

As reported by TMZ, the actor sprang into action when a trespasser entered his property early Friday morning. Law enforcement sources said they received a 911 call from Barbara Palvin around 12:30 AM, reporting an attempted burglary.

According to the report, Dylan confronted the intruder and restrained him until authorities arrived. A source close to the actor said he was unharmed but shaken, adding that this was not the first such incident at their home. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Footage circulating online shows officers placing the unidentified man in handcuffs near a police vehicle outside the property. The video also shows a skateboard propped near the actor’s gate.

Officers were reportedly told that Dylan had a gun and, at one point, placed it back in its holster behind the front gate. He is said to have held the suspect at gunpoint before tackling him.
