After Karan Kundrra proposed to girlfriend Tejasswi Prakash on Desi Bling show, actress and Karan`s ex-girlfriend, Anusha Dandekar`s cryptic note went viral on social media. Anusha penned a note thanking God, which many linked to the proposal. However, now Anusha has clarified her cryptic note.
Anusha Dandekar reacts to media reports
Soon after clips of Karan proposing to Tejasswi surfaced, Dandekar took to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “I’m Thanking God!!! iykyk.” Although she did not name anyone, many linked the message to her ex. However, she took to starioes again to clarify the meaning behind her cryptic note.
Reacting to the assumptions and media reports, Anusha expressed frustration. Addressing the situation on social media, she wrote, “Omg. Clearly, you don`t know, especially articles! When I talk about something specific, I say so, If I`m Thanking GOD for my own reasons, you still make it about that and then come at me, for your own assumption! Unreal!” (sic)
In the same note, she further acknowledged the supportive messages she received from fans and added, “And for all the cute DM`s, I saw all & I agree. Now everyone can assume what you wrote to me, Love yooou.”
When Anusha Dandekar accused Karan Kundrra of cheating
For the uninversed, Anusha and Karan dated from 2016 to 2019, until they parted ways in late 2020. The actress had confirmed her breakup in a long Instagram post.
Back in 2025, years after her split with Kundrra, Anusha publicly took a dig at him, accusing him of cheating during their five-year relationship. Earlier, Anusha had even hinted at infidelity being the reason for their breakup. She added that she was cheated upon and was lied to. She also revealed that the relationship took a toll on her self-respect.
On her YouTube channel Unverified – The Podcast, Anusha revealed her experience with a dating app. Without directly naming Karan, she said that she was signed to do campaigns for the dating app and had also secured a deal for her then-boyfriend to join the campaign alongside her.
She added, “The most he’s ever been paid for this campaign, ever in life. And he used the dating app to talk and meet with girls, and we’re doing the campaign together.”
