The makers of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Ramayana revealed its first teaser on Hanuman Jayanti. Some highlights of the film were showcased at CinemaCon for global appeal and were promoted by Yash, who plays Ravana in the film, and producer Namit Malhotra. In a viral clip from the film festival, Yash opened up about a grand action sequence between Ravana and Jatayu, which he promises will be crazy.
Yash on action scene with Jatayu in Ramayana
In a candid chat with foreign media at CinemaCon, Yash was asked about his favourite scene from the film. To this, he said, “There are many (action scenes), but if you have to draw a comparison, there is one which is the fight with the bird called Jatayu. It is the king of birds. It is a massive bird. There is an action sequence between Ravana and Jatayu. That is going to be crazy. But of course, it is created with the help of visual effects.”

The bird also features in a glimpse in the opening scene of Ranbir Kapoor`s ‘Rama’ first look. Yash further teased, “He’s Ravana, he’s the best warrior, he’s got so many powers. You have to see it to believe it. The way the scene unfolds—it’s magic and a full-on commercial action sequence, with the bird in the sky, with the Pushpak Vimana, the lotus-shaped flying object—it is going to be spectacular.”
In a conversation with Fandango, Yash spoke about his equation with Ranbir Kapoor. He shared, “Interestingly, we haven’t shared screen space yet. As you know, it’s a two-part film. In the first part, as Ravana, I have my own kingdom, and Rama has his own.”
