Actress Reva Kaurase, who was recently seen in Bigg Boss Marathi 6, opened up about her emotional journey inside the reality show house and revealed how fellow contestant Rakhi Sawant pushed her to the edge mentally. In an exclusive conversation, Reva reflected on her time in the house, the challenges she faced, and the controversies surrounding hygiene issues raised by other contestants.
Reva Kaurase accuses Rakhi Sawant of mental trauma
Talking about her overall journey on the show, Reva said she was proud of reaching the top six despite entering as a wildcard contestant. “It was a great experience. I was wildcard entry but still I made it to top 6. Although I wanted to be a finalist but I couldn`t but that`s all fine. Still it was a great journey and it was a great experience,” she shared.
The actress also recalled dealing with intense situations involving Rakhi Sawant and Raqesh Bapat. According to Reva, she entered the house mentally prepared because she expected Rakhi to create chaos and provoke contestants. “That was the task to be sane and insane. Because I knew that she was insane. That was the only thing expected from Rakhi, that she will do such a thing where poking, triggering was her strategy, was her game plan,” Reva said. She added that her own strategy was to remain calm despite the constant provocation. “Mine was to be seen and to be calm, how to manage these things. I was mentally prepared since when I got to know that Rakhi is inside the house. I was mentally prepared for that as well that she can do anything, she can go to any level. But I have to tackle it properly and I`ve done that,” she explained.
Reva further revealed that there were two moments when she experienced emotional breakdowns inside the house. The first incident involved Rakhi allegedly dragging her name into inappropriate discussions with male contestants, including Raqesh Bapat. “That happened twice. Firstly, when Rakhi crossed some limits regarding Raqesh. She was trying to involve me in few things which I was not okay with because I thought that the family will see and how they will react. And if the audience will see then how will they react,” she said. Reva added, “That was an incident where not only Raqesh was involved but all the co-contestants, male contestants. She joined my name with all of them. That was the first moment.”
The second breakdown happened during a task connected to the ticket-to-finale challenge. Reva explained that she was asked to speak negatively about a close friend to win the task, something she emotionally could not do. “There was a task of BB code where I had to say something against my friend according to the task, just to win that ticket to finale. And I couldn`t do that,” she said. “So that was the day where I felt that I have to speak so badly about my people. And now I don`t want to stay here. That was the second time. Apart from that I was okay and I was just managing everything properly,” she added.
Hygiene rumours in Bigg Boss house
The actress also addressed recent allegations made by another contestant about unhygienic conditions inside the Bigg Boss Marathi 6 house. Reva said she did not completely agree with the claims and felt the issue was being exaggerated. “I don`t agree with her properly. First of all I have never met her. I don`t know her personally. But I don`t know why she is doing this,” Reva said while reacting to the controversy.
She admitted that there were some hygiene-related concerns but denied extreme allegations involving rats and cockroaches inside the kitchen. “Definitely there were hygiene issues. But the way she is exaggerating that there were cockroaches, rats. I have never seen that. I used to cook as well. I used to clean utensils. I have done everything inside the house. But I have never seen such an incident,” she explained.
Reva clarified that there was one rat spotted in the garden area, but never in the kitchen. “There was definitely a rat. But that was in the garden area. Never in the kitchen. There were never rats or cockroaches in the kitchen area,” she stated. The actress further pointed out that living with multiple personalities inside the house naturally creates disagreements over cleanliness and personal habits. “Everyone faces unhygienic issues. That`s how it is. It`s a Bigg Boss house. So there are different personalities where their upbringing is different. Someone has a problem with something. Some people are unhygienic as well,” she said.
However, she maintained that cleanliness was also an individual responsibility. “Even I like hygiene. So I used to make sure that the area around me, I used to keep my bed clean at the same time. Whatever my stuff is. Or if there was any problem in the washroom, we used to fight for that,” she shared.
Reva concluded by saying that she often cleaned common areas herself even when it was not her assigned duty. “In fact, there were times in the kitchen area where I used to clean myself. Even if it was not my duty, still I used to do that. So that is very personal. You cannot blame others again and again,” she said.
