Alien number 1

An alien horror film backed by Hollywood action and creature-design veterans is set to enter Indian cinema with Samuk, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead. Directed by Kanishk Varma, the sci-fi thriller reunites Akshay with producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah after 12 years. The actor-director duo’s last film together was Action Replayy (2010). Stunt expert Luke Tumber, known for the Mission: Impossible films and Venom (2018), has joined the project, alongside creature-effects legend Alec Gillis of the Alien and Predator franchises. Akshay said the film’s sci-fi world and subject felt unlike anything he had explored before.
