Music inspired by lipstick stain
After a long musical gap, Padma Shri awardee Adnan Sami has returned with a new single, Lipstick, a vibrant track centred on confidence and self-expression. Speaking about the release, Sami said, “Lipstick started with a simple, catchy thought but quickly grew into something much more meaningful. It’s about that instant shift in confidence when you feel your best and own it unapologetically.” The singer also described music as a way of “warding off negativity” and spreading joy.

All set to play a superhero grandfather in his upcoming outing, The Great Grand Superhero — Aliens Ka Aagman, Jackie Shroff got into a reflective mode as he spoke about his son Tiger and the prospect of being a grandfather one day. “As you grow older, you become like a child. Toh jitna maza le sakta hai apne grandfather ka lelo! Nothing else matters because one day even the photo that we hang [on the wall] of our grandparents is taken out. When I won’t be there, my bachha Tiger will keep my photo with him, agar Tiger ka bachha mera photo rakhe toh bohot badi baat hai! Apne ghar mei grandfather aur great grandfather ka photo nahi hota. Think about this that our grandparents were also our own. They were the leaves that fell, hence it’s said that you should step gently on dry leaves,” Jackie said with his trademark candour and humour intact.

KVN Productions has confirmed that Jana Nayagan, the final cinematic outing for Thalapathy Vijay, will hit theatres on June 18. Following his historic swearing-in as Tamil Nadu’s youngest Chief Minister, the film is being rebranded to reflect his new status. A source revealed the updated title card now reads: “Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu C Joseph Vijay in Jana Nayagan”. Fans describe the release as a “double celebration” for the leader.
