Waiting for the ‘right time’

Actor Danish Pandor, who played Lyari gangster Uzair Balcoh in the Dhurandhar franchise, has shared his views on marriage, calling it “a beautiful institution” that should happen “at the right time.” Speaking to Humans of Bombay, he said, “For me, marriage is more like an official stamp for society. When you are emotionally compatible with that person, eventually you will have to take your story forward with the person and not with society. If that person is happy with you, and you are happy with that person, life works quite smoothly.”

Filmmaker Anurag Basu has clarified that his upcoming romantic musical drama starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela is still far from completion. Speaking to Variety India, the director dismissed reports suggesting the shoot is nearly done, calling them “a myth”. “I’ve not shot more than 45 days for this film. The shooting has just started,” he said. The untitled project, backed by T-Series, was earlier slated for a December 2025 release but has since been delayed.

Comedian Samay Raina’s latest stand-up special Still Alive has crossed 53.4 million views to reportedly emerge as the most-watched full-length stand-up comedy special in the world on a single upload. The comedy special, released on April 7 on YouTube, garnered 22 million views within the first 24 hours of it being dropped. The over one-hour-long special was Samay’s return to comedy following the India’s Got Latent controversy in 2025 involving an appearance by Ranveer Allahbadia. “Still Alive is the most honest thing I have ever made. I owe every view to the people who never stopped showing up,” the comedian said in a statement.
