Pollen is a cocktail that plays with contrast and finesse. It combines 45 ml of gin with 15 ml of extra-dry Martini, subtly sharpened by a single drop of Angostura bitters. Guava super juice brings a soft tropical brightness, while white pep-per syrup adds a gentle warmth and lift. Shaken and double-strained, the drink is delicately finished with a vanilla wood spray and garnished with bamboo leaves and flowers.

Jamun Sour has 60 ml of London Dry gin with 20 ml of rich jamun syrup and 15 ml of fresh lime juice. Vegan foamer lends a soft, silky texture, while a pinch of chaat masala introduces a subtle savoury edge that sets the drink apart. Dry-shaken before being shaken again with ice and double-strained into a fancy rocks glass, it is finished with a rim of chaat masala and salt, and is garnished with a dehydrated orange slice, resulting in a striking serve that is both playful and deeply flavourful.

What is Ginuary?

Ginuary is a popular portmanteau for a month-long, unofficial international celebration of gin during January, serving as a fun alternative to Dry January by encouraging moderate enjoyment, exploration of new brands, and creative gin cocktails using the hashtag #ginuary. It is a global movement driven by gin lovers, brands, and bars to appreciate the spirit’s versatility, history, and diverse flavours. It is a counterpoint to Dry January: Instead of abstaining, Ginuary promotes responsible drinking and appreciation of gin. It’s a chance to savour different gin varieties and learn about botanicals and their history.
