The glitch reportedly appeared during a key sequence where VFX was supposed to create a jungle backdrop. However, instead of the final edited visuals, viewers saw the raw blue screen typically used during filming. The error was quickly noticed by sharp-eyed audiences, who began sharing clips of the moment across social media platforms, turning it into a viral talking point.
Soon after the incident went viral, Ekta Kapoor decided to embrace the mistake rather than issue a clarification. She shared a meme based on the moment and reacted to it on social media.
A netizen shared a clip from the show in which a Naagin was seen transforming into a dragon and breathing fire. They captioned it, “Ekta Ma’am on her way to the office from Thailand after yesterday’s Naagin blue screen mistake by the editors.”
Ektaa reshared the meme on her Instagram Stories and quipped, “Eggjacctlyyy (Exactly).”
When Ektaa addressed use of AI in Naagin 7
This is not the first time Ektaa has addressed criticism over the use of AI or editing in the show. Responding to similar backlash in March, she wrote on social media, “I am getting so much hate for my A.I. episodes.”
She later turned the camera towards her team and joked, “These are the people… I’m innocent… Dragon, plane… with no budget.”
The producer then admitted, “No, it’s me actually. I wanted it all.”
Talking about Naagin 7, the show has been facing criticism online over the past few months, with many viewers expressing disappointment over the excessive use of AI in key sequences.
