​ICSE and ISC Results 2026: Mumbai students shine with scores above 99 per cent 

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced the Class 10 ICSE and Class 12 ISC examination results on Thursday. Students from Mumbai delivered an impressive performance, with several high achievers scoring above 99 per cent.

At Mumbai Public School ICSE, Woollen Mills, run by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), all 27 students passed the Class 10 examination, achieving a 100 per cent success rate. Out of these, 20 students secured distinction.

Veer Khatikmare emerged as the school topper with 96.60 per cent.

Private schools see top scores

Among private institutions, students recorded outstanding results. At Ryan International School in Chembur, Vidhi Paryani scored an exceptional 99.6 per cent, making her one of the top scorers in the city.

At Campion School, Yashowardhan Dhate secured 99.40 per cent. Both schools reported a 100 per cent pass rate.

Meanwhile, at Witty International School in Malad, Vivan Shah topped the school with 98.8 per cent.

Girls outshine boys in overall results

The overall pass percentage stood at 99.18 per cent for Class 10 and 99.13 per cent for Class 12. A total of 2,58,721 candidates appeared for the ICSE (Class 10) examinations, out of which 2,56,590 successfully cleared the exams, while 2,131 students did not pass.

For the ISC (Class 12) examinations, 1,03,316 students appeared. Among them, 1,02,414 candidates qualified, with 902 students not clearing the examination, reported the PTI.

Girl students once again recorded higher pass percentages in both examinations

– In ICSE, girls achieved a pass rate of 99.46 per cent, compared to 98.93 per cent among boys.

– In ISC, girls secured a pass percentage of 99.48 per cent, while boys recorded 98.81 per cent.

Category-wise performance

Across both examinations, students from all categories recorded strong pass percentages, with marginal variations.

ICSE (Class 10)

– General category: 99.26 per cent

– Other Backward Classes: 99.24 per cent

– Scheduled Castes: 98.76 per cent

– Scheduled Tribes: 98.07 per cent

ISC (Class 12)

– General category: 99.17 per cent

– Other Backward Classes: 99.12 per cent

– Scheduled Tribes: 98.84 per cent

– Scheduled Castes: 98.77 per cent

The ICSE examinations were conducted across 67 subjects, while the ISC examinations covered 45 subjects.
