Sai Pallavi feels `excited and nervous` as she prepares for her Bollywood debut

Sai Pallavi is all set to make her Hindi film debut with Ek Din, and the actor admits she is feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness as she steps into Bollywood after a successful career in South Indian cinema.

Speaking at a promotional event for the film, which also stars Junaid Khan and is backed by Aamir Khan, Sai Pallavi expressed gratitude and humility while addressing the audience. She candidly shared that the moment felt overwhelming, as it marked a significant milestone in her journey as an actor.

Sai Pallavi expressed gratitude

“I don’t know what work I have done,” she said, reflecting on her journey so far, adding that she feels fortunate to be surrounded by such talented people. She continued, “Whatever I have done has brought me to a room filled with such amazing people, and I feel very humbled.”

The actor also admitted that despite her experience across Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films, entering the Hindi film industry comes with its own set of challenges. She described feeling both “excited and nervous” about how audiences will receive her in a new space, especially in a language that is not her primary one.

Sai Pallavi made sure to acknowledge the support she received from the team, particularly Aamir Khan, who has produced the film. Thanking him and the entire crew, she said, “I had a great time,” highlighting how comfortable and welcomed she felt while working on the project.

The film Ek Din, a romantic drama, marks an important turning point in her career. Having spent nearly a decade building a strong reputation in the South, Sai Pallavi is now looking to expand her horizons and connect with a wider audience across India. Her decision to take on a Hindi film reflects both her ambition and willingness to step out of her comfort zone.

On gearing up for her Bollywood debut

At the event, her sincerity and grounded personality stood out. Rather than projecting confidence alone, she openly embraced her vulnerability, acknowledging that nervousness is a natural part of growth. Her speech struck a chord with many, as she balanced gratitude with honesty about the uncertainties that come with a new beginning.

As Ek Din gears up for release, Sai Pallavi’s debut is already generating interest among fans and industry insiders alike. With strong backing, a fresh pairing, and her proven acting talent, expectations are high. Yet, for the actor, the focus remains on learning, evolving, and making the most of the opportunity one step at a time.
