Fans’ demand has also led to special paid previews being planned in India from the evening of 30th April. From mesmerising fans worldwide with its high-fashion moments and global appearances to the incredible early reactions, the sequel is on everyone’s watchlist.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. Two decades on, things are different at Runway. They are joined by many new cast members, including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B. J. Novak, and Conrad Ricamora. Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also reprise their roles as Lily and Irv from the original film.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna. Backed by 20th Century Studios, it is set for release on May 1. The sequel will hit the screens 20 years after the original film became a cultural phenomenon that defined fashion, ambition, and power dynamics on screen.

The sequel recently premiered in New York. It features several big names and special appearances from the fashion and entertainment world. Lady Gaga appears in the film and has also recorded a track titled `Runway` with Doechii for the soundtrack.

The first instalment of the film, which was released in 2006, follows Andy Sachs, an aspiring journalist who gets a job at a fashion magazine but finds herself at the mercy of her demanding editor, Miranda Priestly.

The sequel traces Miranda Priestly, who struggles against Emily Charlton, her former assistant turned rival executive, as they compete for advertising revenue amid declining print media while she nears retirement.
