Bringing together storytelling and collaborative gameplay, Journal Bombay has partnered with Zenscape for an immersive murder mystery experience in Santacruz.

The game involves realistic props

The evening begins with an icebreaker session before guests are divided into teams and handed mystery kits filled with clues, evidence, and character prompts. Participants are then required to piece together information, analyse motives, and work collectively to solve the case before the final reveal. Focused on observation, teamwork, and problem-solving, the format is intended to engage both first-time participants and seasoned mystery enthusiasts.

“We have mostly watched films or read books around murder mysteries, so to play it like a game without any screens and try to do this with real people sounded more interesting than anything else,” says Ateet Singh, founder, Journal Bombay. “We always want to get our heads into something new,” he adds.
