It was a big day for the BTS ARMY as Jimin, whose real name is Park Jimin, turned a year older on October 13, 2025. ARMYs throughout the world celebrated his birthday with enthusiasm while sending good wishes his way. On the occasion of his birthday, Jimin went live on Weverse to address his fans and have a candid chat with them, during which he thanked them and revealed what birthdays mean to him.
BTS Jimin reveals birthday`s aren`t a big deal
In one portion of the Weverse live session, BTS Jimin was seen thanking his fans in Korean, saying, “Thank you for wishing me a happy birthday. It’s my birthday again, somehow at this time. It’s nothing special/a big deal that it’s my birthday, but I saw that you guys were wishing me a birthday so much, so I came here (on WEVERSE)”
Responding to a question about whether he had cake on his birthday, Jimin surprisingly revealed that he does not like cake and did not have one. He replied, “No, I didn`t have cake. I don’t really like it.”
NTS Jimin`s birthday celebrations in Busan
Fans of BTS’ Jimin truly outdid themselves this year. The city of Busan was buzzing with excitement for the past few days to mark his birthday. Streets were plastered with banners, subway stations flashed digital posters, while purple hearts flew around. Fans jokingly called it `Jimin Land. Fans organised a two-day yacht party at Haeundae Beach on October 12 and 13, wherein fans got to sail under Busan’s night sky, with fireworks under the Gwangandaegyo Bridge.
A custom bus inspired by Jimin’s second mini-album, Muse, is also cruising through the city from October 10 to 14. On yacht days, the bus doubles as a shuttle for fans attending the festivities.
Notably, Busan isn’t the only city celebrating. Yeoncheon, where Jimin completed his military service, has fans handing out 300 hamburger sets to soldiers, keeping his tradition of giving alive. Similarly, Seoul, Incheon, and other cities are also hosting exhibitions and themed cafés.
