Legendary Hollywood action star Chuck Norris, best known for his iconic role in Walker, Texas Ranger, has passed away at the age of 86, leaving behind a legacy that defined action cinema for decades.

According to reports, Norris was recently hospitalised in Hawaii following a medical emergency. His family later confirmed that he died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, though they chose to keep further details private.

Born Carlos Ray Norris in 1940, he rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most recognisable faces in martial arts and Hollywood. Before entering films, Norris was a six-time undefeated World Professional Middleweight Karate Champion, earning global respect for his discipline and skill.

His transition into cinema began after a memorable appearance alongside martial arts legend Bruce Lee in The Way of the Dragon. From there, Norris built a formidable career in action films throughout the 1970s and 1980s, starring in hits like The Delta Force and Missing in Action.

However, it was his portrayal of Cordell Walker in the long-running television series Walker, Texas Ranger that cemented his status as a household name. The show, which aired from 1993 to 2001, showcased his signature blend of martial arts expertise and moral storytelling, earning a loyal global fan base.
