Vijay Deverakonda teases paparazzi at reception: `We’ll go underground quietly` 

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna seem to be in a celebratory mood ever since they exchanged wedding vows in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur. After Anna Seva and sharing their joy with fans, they hosted a star-studded reception in Hyderabad. For the evening, the couple arrived in elegant South Indian attire and indulged in fun banter with the paps.

For the reception, the couple made a grand entry and posed for the paparazzi while greeting them with folded hands. Vijay thanked everyone for their love and support, saying they hoped to wrap up the celebrations and “go underground quietly” afterward. He even made a playful sleeping gesture with his hand, leaving Rashmika bursting into laughter.

Rashmika chose a stunning red saree featuring a broad golden and black border, while Vijay complemented her in an ivory Pattu Pancha set.

Ahead of their reception, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna hosted an intimate event for the Telugu media fraternity, which has covered their journey in the industry. He thanked them and added, “The Telugu press will always be our press, and I thank you all for your wishes. We came here so you all can meet us, and we can take your blessings while we are here. The Telugu States have a good daughter-in-law… take good care of her.” (sic)

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna tied the knot in an intimate yet high-profile ceremony in Udaipur, Rajasthan, on February 26. The couple had two ceremonies: one conducted according to Telugu traditions honouring Vijay’s heritage, and another following Kodava customs reflecting Rashmika’s Coorg roots. Shortly after the ceremony, the couple posted official wedding pictures on social media, sharing the news with fans. On March 3, the duo treated the audience to glimpses from their sangeet ceremony.

Days after their wedding, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda were seen arriving at his village in Thummanpet in Mahbubnagar, Telangana, where they received a warm and traditional welcome. They also performed the Satyanarayana Vratam at their newly built home. Additionally, they hosted a meet-and-greet for their fans, where they were seen serving food and interacting with them.
