As actor-politician Vijay and his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) continue to hold a strong lead in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, it has turned out to be a significant day for the star. Amid the election buzz, actress Trisha Krishnan was spotted arriving at Vijay’s residence in Chennai on Monday afternoon- coinciding with her birthday celebrations.
Trisha arrives at Vijay`s Chennai home
On Monday afternoon, Trisha was seen arriving at Vijay’s Chennai home, smiling as paparazzi stationed outside captured her arrival. The visuals quickly began circulating on social media, drawing the attention of fans amid TVK’s strong performance in the election trends.

Trisha at Tirupati temple
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, Trisha was spotted at the sacred Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati, where she sought blessings on the occasion of her birthday.
The actress was seen at the temple premises early in the morning, dressed in traditional attire. She greeted paparazzi waiting outside and also posed for pictures with fans who had gathered to catch a glimpse of her.
The Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, situated atop the Seshachalam Hills, is among India’s most revered Hindu shrines. Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, also known as Balaji, the centuries-old temple attracts millions of devotees from across India and abroad every year.
Vijay`s party begins celebration
Meanwhile, as Vijay-led TVK appeared to inch towards the majority mark of 118 Assembly seats out of Tamil Nadu’s total 234 constituencies, celebrations erupted among party workers and fans across the state. Amid chants of “TVK” and “Vijay,” supporters gathered outside the party headquarters in Panaiyur, distributed sweets, and hailed the party founder as “Muthalamaichar (Chief Minister) Vijay,” who is popularly known by his screen title “Thalapathy.”
Visuals of Vijay’s father, S. A. Chandrasekhar, and other family members celebrating were also aired on television channels. TVK is currently leading in at least 108 of the 234 constituencies.
TVK national spokesperson Felix Gerald on Monday expressed confidence that the party would form the government with an absolute majority as initial election trends showed the party “scaling high.”
Speaking to Press Trust of India, Gerald said the results were expected and claimed that the people of Tamil Nadu had chosen TVK because they were “fed up” with established political parties.
“They may have experience of 50 or 75 years, but they have experience only in looting the state,” Gerald said, adding that voters see TVK as a credible alternative.
