Playing the titular role of Suman is Snehlata Vasaikar, a woman with an aura so commanding that no one dares to raise their voice against her. Alongside a talented cast including Milind Dastane, Ujjwal Tathe, Swati Bhingadive, Sharad Gurav, Chandan Jamdade, and Sweta Naik, among others.

Produced by Yelkotti Productions OPC Pvt Ltd and directed by Avinash Waghmare, whose creative vision shapes Vashikaranam into a gripping supernatural thriller designed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

Talking about her role, Snehlata Vasaikar added, “I have explored many characters across genres, but Vashikaranam has been a completely different experience. My character Suman is layered, powerful, and deeply complex, and portraying her has pushed me to discover new emotional depths within myself as an actor. What makes the show special is how it explores the many shades of a woman’s life. I am truly excited that this journey unfolds on Sony Entertainment Television, and I am proud to be part of the Sony Entertainment Television family for the second time.”

Vashikaranam is set to launch from 16th March, 2026, and will air Monday to Friday at 10:15 PM exclusively on Sony Entertainment Television and will also stream on Sony LIV.

Sony TV launches Wheel of Fortune

Wheel of Fortune, which debuted in the United States in the 1970s, is one of the most iconic television formats of all time, having been copied in over 60 nations. The big spinning wheel, letter-guessing riddles, and high-stakes rounds have helped it become a global entertainment mainstay. Sony has kept the main international structure while injecting it with Indian flavour, such as Hindi and regional words, Indian cultural references, and special celebrity episodes.

This marks Akshay Kumar`s comeback to mainstream television hosting following previous successful stints, and the channel is counting heavily on his keen wit, easy relationship with contestants, and ability to keep the show exciting without overpowering it.
