Daisy Shah hits back at trolls
It started after a user shared the clip of Daisy cooking malpua for iftaari and wrote, “Meet Daisy Shah. She has a problem with firecrackers, but she visits Iftaar parties and cooks there as well.”
Fire Crackers and cooking food are completely different from each other. Good luck with spreading hate in the name of religion. I hope you get well soon 🙏 https://t.co/QNCN086CE4

When Daisy Shah slammed the use of firecrackers
For the unversed, last year, Daisy Shah took to her official Instagram handle and shared a video criticising a political party for bursting firecrackers during an election campaign in Mumbai. Daisy claimed that the crackers triggered a fire inside a residential apartment. She also shared a clip in which she was seen standing outside the building and pointing towards a flat where the fire had broken out as she explained what had happened.
According to Daisy, the election campaigners had been bursting firecrackers on the street as part of their election activities. She revealed the fire was a direct result of crackers being set off on the road, raising concern that people often ignore the risks involved. The Jai Ho actress also blamed irresponsible authorities for allowing such behaviour during campaign events. She also added that her own house was located right next to the flat where the fire had occurred.
Daisy even questioned the lack of civic sense among people, alleging that around 200 people had gathered in the area and were even launching rockets because elections were taking place in Bandra East. According to the actress, the group quickly left the area as soon as the fire broke out. She was also seen asking nearby residents if the fire brigade had been informed about the incident.
