Prajakta Koli makes her Marathi debut

The film was reportedly shot this year in Alibaug. It addresses the pressing issue of declining Marathi-medium schools in Maharashtra. Talking about her Marathi debut, Prajakta Koli says it feels like coming home. He states, “Moving from the digital space to Bollywood was an incredible experience, but stepping into Marathi cinema feels like coming home. The language, the culture, and the regional stories we tell hold a special place in my heart. Krantijyoti Vidyalay – Marathi Madhyam explores themes that are not only timely but essential.”

This milestone marks the next big chapter in Koli’s acting journey. This comes following her standout performances in series like Netflix’s Mismatched, Amazon Prime’s Andhera. She made her Bollywood debut with Dharma Productions’ Jug Jugg Jeeyo alongside stalwarts like Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor.
