Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has been creating a buzz among the fans ever since it was officially announced. The Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi-starrer is the anticipated sequel to the 2019 film Pati Patni Aur Woh. in 2025, the makers announced that the film would release in theatres on March 4, 2026, coinciding with Holi. However, now, just a month ahead of its scheduled release, the film has been postponed.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do gets a new release date
The makers have announced a new release date, revealing that Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will now hit theatres on May 15, 2026. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the new release date of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. “AYUSHMANN KHURRANA – SARA ALI KHAN – WAMIQA GABBI – RAKUL PREET SINGH: ‘PATI PATNI AUR WOH DO’ GETS A NEW RELEASE DATE… Welcome to the world of #PrajapatiPandey… AyushmannKhuranna, SaraAliKhan, WamiqaGabbi, and RakulPreetSingh team up for PatiPatniAurWohDo. Directed by MudassarAziz, the film will now hit cinemas on 15 May 2026. Produced by BhushanKumar and RenuRaviChopra, with JunoChopra as the creative producer,” the announcement post read.
Recently, Bollywood Hungama had reported that the film will not release on March 4, its initial release date, since the post-production is not yet complete, and a song is also pending to be shot. The report added that the makers did not want to rush the process and wanted to dedicate time and effort to ensure that the final product turns out to be enticing for the audience.
