Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirjkar were the most-loved couple from the reality show Bigg Boss 19. Last month, fans noticed Nagma`s absence from Awez`s 33rd birthday bash and began speculating that all was not well between them, and they had parted ways. Now, their fellow Bigg Boss contestant Kunickaa Sadanand has seemingly confirmed their breakup and expressed hope that both of them find loving partners in the future.

Kunickaa Sadanand confirms Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirjkar`s breakup

In a recent interview with Telly Masala, Kunickaa was asked whether Awez and Nagma`s breakup rumours were true, and she confirmed, “It is very emotional because dono ke saath mera bohot accha connection tha. Dono ko main bohot pyaar karti hoon (I had a good connection with both of them, and loved both of them a lot). I know Nagma and Awez ne bhi ek doosre ko bohot support kiya (I know they both have supported each other a lot).”

She added, “So, I wish ki ho sakta hai agar kuch sulah ho jaaye ya kuch ho jaaye. Jo bhi ho. Agar nahi bhi ho, dono ko acche partner mile kyuki unhe mile the aur shayad destiny nahi chahti thi. But I hope they find good partners (So, I wish that they can reconcile or work things out somehow. But even if they are not able to reconcile. I hope both of them find good partners, because they had found each other once, and perhaps destiny did not want it to last. But I truly hope they both find good partners).”

Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar`s relationship

Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirjkar have reportedly been in a relationship for almost a decade. Their relationship started with friendship, which grew with time. Fans first noticed when they started to create dance videos together. Eventually, dating rumours were fuelled after Nagma`s involvement with Awez`s family. 

However, in December 2024, Nagma, in a YouTube video, clarified that they were not romantically involved, adding that they were just friends. The duo later entered Bigg Boss 19, where Awez had explained that they were in a `testing period`. Within a few episodes, he proposed to Nagma on national television.

Talking of his relationship, Awez had told Zoom, “100 percent. It`s become better. After staying inside, I and Nagma understood how a person can talk and behave in such a place. Despite living there, we could be our own ourselves. We could also compare how the genuine people there can handle themselves in the most difficult situations.”
