Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar turned hosts as they took on the stage at the Filmfare Awards 2025. Their on-stage banter kept the audience hooked and entertained. During one of the segments, SRK allegedly teased Karan Johar over his apparent use of Ozempic. Meanwhile, KJo hit back with a Wankhede dig at the superstar.

Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan`s banter

When Shah Rukh Khan asked KJo about his significant weight loss, the filmmaker revealed that he has been exercising a lot. The King star asked, “Bahaut alag lag rahe ho, (You are looking very different), to which Karan responded with, “Zyada exercise karne laga hoon aajkal. (I have been working out a lot)”

SRK then took a dig at him, saying, “Ohh, you are working out! Are you trying to go for the Ozempic?”. before instantly correcting himself, saying, “I mean Olympic”. Karan Johar, who is known for his witty self, gave back saying, “Haan, Wankhede mein hai Olympics. Aaoge? (The Olympics are in the Wankhede this year. Will you come?)”.

Notably, Karan Johar`s drastic weight loss sparked speculations about the filmmaker using Ozempic or a similar medicine. However, Karan has repeatedly denied the rumours, attributing his transformation to hard work and discipline. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan was once banned from entering the famous Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
