However, recent episodes have revealed a more emotional side to her, as she broke down while reliving a difficult period earlier this year.
During the recent captaincy task, wildcard competitor Malti Chahar questioned Tanya`s statements about her lifestyle and financial situation. Malti accused Tanya of misrepresenting her accomplishments, claiming she would “understand the truth” once she left the house. She even mentioned that Tanya`s family may be concerned about her predicament outside of the show.
Tanya was moved to tears in front of fellow contender Zeishan Qadri after hearing the statements. While soothing her, Zeishan advised Tanya not to let Malti`s criticisms influence her playing. He warned her that Malti could be trying to mentally weaken her.

Tanya told Zeishan that the statements brought back terrible memories from earlier this year. She said, “Sir, parivaar ka jahan naam aata hai; mera wahan give up hojaata hai. Or you online trolling wagera se main aur ghabra jati hoon. Kyunki mere saath iss saal ye dusri baar horaha hai!” (Whenever my family name comes up, I tend to give up. And all of this online taunting makes me even more concerned because this is the second time it has happened to me this year.)
She also mentioned that the teasing reminded her of what transpired following the Mahakumbh event in February 2025. Tanya opened up: “Maine Kumbh mein sach bola, meri saari security, contracts, sab chala gaya, sab ne bola ye ladki farzi hai, issne jhoot bola logo ki jaan bachayi, jabki maine 14 ghante logon ki jaan bachayi.” (During the Kumbh, I told the truth, but I lost my security, contracts, and everything. People called me a fraud and said I lied about saving lives, but I honestly spent 14 hours saving people.)

Tanya spoke about her family, saying, “Phir se ye sab horaha hai, toh mujhe pata hai mera chota bhai akela hai, woh pareshaan horaha hoga mere bina.” “Pura saal hogaya ladte ladte.” (All of this is occurring again, and I know my younger brother is alone and must be worrying about me. It`s been a year of continuous battle.)
She stated that her younger brother has been her main concern, particularly as she endures internet trolling once more. Tanya noted that when her family`s name is mentioned, she finds it difficult to remain strong.
