Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan exposes Tanya Mittal`s `victim card` game plan

The Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19 was packed with laughter, sharp observations, and powerful confrontations as Salman Khan addressed some of the biggest controversies of the week, from accusations of bias and emotional outbursts to alliances and household conflicts.

The episode kicked off on a light-hearted note with Pranit More’s entertaining stand-up comedy act that left everyone in splits. His witty take on house dynamics and contestant quirks had both the audience and the housemates laughing, setting a fun tone before the serious conversations began.

Salman Khan schools Malti and addresses the favouritism rumours

Salman questioned Malti about her changing alliances, asking her which group she truly belonged to. Malti confidently responded that she was part of the backbenchers. Salman then questioned why she couldn’t form a bond with Nehal and Farrhana, to which Nehal admitted that their personalities would clash. When asked what their group name would have been, Gaurav called them the Bermuda Triangle, Shehbaz dubbed them the Chudail Gang, and Baseer went a step further by calling them Dayans.

Addressing recent social media chatter about alleged favouritism, Salman made a strong clarification. He asked the contestants who he has scolded the most, and unanimously, everyone said Amaal. Salman explained, “I’ve said things to him I wouldn’t say to anyone else. It’s just that some of it doesn’t air because of personal remarks.” He dismissed claims of partiality towards Amaal or Kunickaa, adding, “There’s no bias here — only honesty.” He also praised Abhishek for his growth, saying his aggression aside, he’s coming across as “innocent and real.”

Salman Khan calls out Tanya`s victim card play

Salman Khan addressed Tanya’s emotional reaction following the feedback she received from Malti after her entry in the house. Tanya admitted she was disturbed by Malti’s comments, saying, “I was a little pareshan with the feedback she gave me, nothing against her, but I was worried. She mentioned my family and called me manipulative, a liar, and someone with double standards. I didn’t like that, so I was upset.”

Salman, however, offered a sharp reality check. “You only asked for the feedback, and unfortunately, it wasn’t what your heart or mind wanted to hear. If you’re not lying, then why are you worried? How is Malti wrong for saying what she saw? When people meet your real family, they’ll know what’s real and what’s not,” he said.

He further questioned Tanya’s emotional breakdown after being pushed into the pool during the nomination task. “You were seen enjoying in the pool earlier and even asked Farrhana to push you in. So when Malti did the same, what was the issue?” Tanya explained, “I miss my mom a lot, and because she gave a wrong reason, I was hurt.” Salman replied, “That reason may be wrong for you, but not for her.”

Malti defended her stance, saying, “I know she wears a saree before such tasks for attention. I would have chosen someone else if she hadn’t worn it, she did it just to gain sympathy. Heroines have done songs in water wearing sarees; there was no reason to cry.”

Closing the conversation, Salman called out Tanya for being inconsistent. “Your conversations have contradictions because you talk so much about yourself. You say you haven’t lived in such an environment, but this is a challenge show. You understood the game from day one, who to befriend and who to make your rival. You’re playing well, but the viewers get confused. You already have a sympathetic face, you don’t need to play that card. Four others were also thrown into the pool, yet no one made it a drama. Did you do that so it would be discussed today and get you footage?”

Salman Khan lauded Gaurav, Mridul, Abhishek and Ashnoor

Salman didn’t mince words while addressing Neelam’s decision to stop cooking after being hurt during a task. “What did you even achieve by that?” he asked. He reminded her that Gaurav’s comments came during a task and weren’t personal, saying, “You’re getting upset for no reason. The truth is, your opinions don’t come out, so everyone only connects you with cooking. People aren’t threatened by you — that’s why they call it Neelam Bachao Andolan. You need to be stronger.”

Salman applauded Abhishek for stepping up to handle the kitchen duties efficiently after others backed out. He praised his “quick problem-solving” and presented him with a chef’s hat sent by his sister. He also advised Farrhana to be cautious about her friendships in the house, subtly hinting at shifting alliances. Salman even lauded Gaurav Khanna and Mridul Tiwari for finally showing up in the game.

Salman wrapped up the episode by pulling up Shehbaz for his behaviour. “Mazak aur badtameezi mein ek line hoti hai, and you’re crossing it,” he said firmly. The host reminded him that while humour adds fun to the show, it shouldn’t come at the cost of respect. The moment served as a reality check, with Shehbaz seen reflecting on his actions.
