Anita Hassanandani: With Kyunki, I hope that TV bounces back | Exclusive 

Ekta Kapoor brings back the iconic show of the 2000s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The show has been making a lot of buzz with the OG cast returning, and fans are eagerly waiting for Kyunki to go on floors. In an exclusive chat with Mid-day, Anita Hassanandani, who has been a part of numerous projects helmed by Ekta Kapoor, reacted to the return of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi`s season 2. The actress shared her excitement as well as stated that it was a much-needed return.

When asked about her reaction to Kyunki returning, Anita shared, “I am really proud of Kyunki coming back. I am just hoping that with Kyunki coming back, even the phase that was there with the show comes back. Television needs a reset; it needs to revive. We have made some great shows like Kasautii, Kavyanjali and all. I just hope that TV bounces back like it used to be.”

Anita recalls fond memories from the old days 

Anita further recalled the fond memories from the old days when Kyunki, Kasautii, Kavyanjali and other shows aired in the lineup and they often had integration episodes, she said, “There are very fond memories of those days, we all used to sit together to have our meals like a family. We all enjoyed together, I wish I could get to be back with the same cast and do the same show together. I would love to be back and play all the characters that I have done before. I am very very proud of it.”
 
Anita Hassanandani has been one of the experienced artists on TV who has been a part of the Industry for more than 2 decades. The actress has been a part of numerous shows helmed by Ekta Kapoor. Anita was last seen in the TV show Suman Indori, which starred Zain Imam and Ashnoor Kaur in the lead roles. Anita recently took to her Instagram handle, updating her fans that she is going to take a break from social media and plans on having a social media detox for some time. As fans are aware, the actress will soon be seen in the upcoming reality show Goriyaan Chali Gaon.
