Creative skills camp

A six-day Summer Art & Activity Camp 2026 by House of Creativity in Bhaveshwar Vihar brings together hands-on learning across two batches in May.

The workshop covers candle making, tie-dye, perfume making, glass painting and more, with all materials provided. Open to participants aged six and above, it also encourages entrepreneurial skills. “It’s about helping participants explore creativity while learning skills they can use beyond the workshop,” said Jaini Gala, organiser.

A four-day Make Your Own Newspaper workshop will introduce children to the fundamentals of journalism, from reporting and interviews to design and layout. Led by educator Yashasvi Vacchani and journalist Moeena Halim, the programme combines storytelling, fieldwork and hands-on creation, culminating in each participant producing their own newspaper.

“This workshop introduces children to how news is created, reported and presented, while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking,” said Vacchani. “We want them to understand what makes a story, how to verify it, and also enjoy the creative side of putting a newspaper together,” added Halim.

This arts and craft session is a four-day creative programme across two weekends in May. Conducted by Moksha Sanghvi and Twinkal Jain, the workshop includes activities such as Lippan art, clay modelling, glass painting and tote bag design. With all materials provided, children can explore multiple art forms while taking home their creations.

“This workshop is about enhancing a child’s creative mindset and allowing them to explore their own ideas freely. There is no right or wrong in art — what they imagine is what they create,” said Sanghvi.
