​Maharashtra HSC Result 2026: MSBSHSE to announce Class 12 results on May 2 

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) on Thursday announced that the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or Class 12 examinations for the February-March 2026 session will be declared on Saturday, May 2, at 1 pm.

Result to be released online across all divisions

The board stated that the results will be made available online for students across all nine divisional boards, including Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Konkan.

Thousands of students who appeared for the examination are eagerly awaiting their results, which are crucial for college admissions and future academic progression.

Ahead of the declaration, a press conference has been scheduled at 11 am at the board’s Pune office, where officials are expected to announce key statistics such as overall pass percentage and division-wise performance.

Websites and DigiLocker access

Students will be able to check their results on multiple official platforms, including results.digilocker.gov.in, mahahsscboard.in, hscresult.mkcl.org, results.targetpublications.org, results.navneet.com and education.indianexpress.com.

Digital marksheets will also be accessible via the DigiLocker app.

Junior colleges will be able to view consolidated results through the official MSBSHSE portal using their login credentials.

Revaluation and verification facility

The board has also announced that students will be able to apply online for revaluation, verification of marks, and photocopies of answer sheets after the results are declared.

Applications for these services will be accepted through the official website or respective institutions.

Exam-related administrative updates issued

In a separate notice, MSBSHSE has also issued key instructions regarding examination fee payment and the HSC 2026 examination process.

Students can pay their exam fees online between April 3 and April 17, 2026, using debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking, with a nominal convenience fee applicable.

For the February-March 2026 HSC examinations, candidates must complete online registration and subject selection confirmation within the stipulated time. Schools have been directed to ensure timely completion, while any corrections will require divisional board approval.

Class improvement scheme announced

The board has also introduced provisions under the Class Improvement Scheme, allowing HSC students appearing in the February-March 2026 and June-July 2026 sessions to improve their performance in eligible subjects as per existing guidelines.

Institutions have been instructed to verify student data carefully before submission to ensure accuracy in examination records.

The notice was issued on April 30, 2026, by the Secretary of MSBSHSE, Pune Division.
