Akshay Kumar is back to work days after the release of his film Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan. Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan head to Kerala

On Thursday, Akshay took to his X handle and shared an update on the upcoming film with Anees. In the video shared by him, he can be seen with Vidya Balan walking on a ramp towards a private plane. The actor was seen wearing a white ganjee and cargo pants, while Vidya opted for a comfortable look in a baby pink salwar suit.

Meanwhile, Anees Bazmee and Akshay Kumar last collaborated 15 years ago on the film Thank You (2011).

Insiders describe the movie as a high-energy, laugh-a-minute entertainer, typical of Bazmee’s style. “It’s a classic Anees Bazmee comedy with fast-paced scenes, and confusion born from multiple characters and hilarious situations. The shoot was originally scheduled for February. While other actors, including leading lady Vidya Balan, will join later, the film rolls on January 20 with the superstar,” revealed a source close to the production to Mid-day earlier this year.

The two were seen boarding the private plane, heading for their destination. The actor revealed that they are flying to Kerala for the shoot of the film.

He captioned the post, “Next stop: God’s own country, the magical Keralam. Anees Bazmee’s next is my fourth film with the ever fabulous vidya_balan and I hope the good luck charm of our jodi continues.”

Vidya and Akshay have previously worked together in films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Heyy Babyy, and Mission Mangal. Vidya also did a cameo in Akshay’s film Thank You.
