BTS 2.0 begins as OT7 reunites for Arirang album, stadium tour after enlistment

Global supergroup BTS is stepping into a defining new chapter with their Arirang era, marking a powerful full-group comeback after 1,268 days away from stadium stages. Their return is not just symbolic it signals a calculated move to reclaim their dominance in the global music industry.

BTS world tour officially kicks off

After completing mandatory military service, all seven members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook have reunited at a time when anticipation is at its peak. Their comeback album Arirang, released in March 2026, blends traditional Korean musical elements with modern pop, reinforcing their identity while appealing to a global audience. The project has already seen massive commercial success, topping major charts and reigniting worldwide interest.

The group’s highly anticipated Arirang World Tour officially kicks off in South Korea, marking their first large-scale live performances since 2022. Spanning over 30 cities and more than 80 shows, the tour is poised to become one of the biggest in K-pop history. Tickets have sold out rapidly across regions, underlining their enduring global demand.

What makes this era particularly significant is its strategic positioning as “BTS 2.0.” Rather than simply resuming activities, the group is evolving both musically and culturally. Their comeback concert in Seoul already hinted at this shift, combining high-production performances with deeply personal moments that reflect their journey through hiatus and individual growth.

All about their comeback tour

Looking ahead, BTS is expected to dominate not just through touring but across multiple platforms. From a Netflix-backed comeback concert and documentary to record-breaking streaming numbers, their content ecosystem is expanding beyond music alone. This multi-platform presence ensures they remain culturally relevant while strengthening their global fanbase.

Industry analysts predict the tour alone could generate massive revenue, potentially setting new benchmarks for K-pop acts. More importantly, BTS’ return is reshaping the global pop landscape once again proving their influence remains unmatched even after years of inactivity.

In essence, the Arirang era is not just a comeback it’s a reinvention. BTS is no longer just returning to the stage; they are redefining what global pop dominance looks like in their second chapter.
