BTS J-Hope’s sister Jung Ji-woo on suffering miscarriage, details IVF experience 

Jung Ji-woo has opened up about a deeply personal and emotional chapter in her life, revealing that she suffered a miscarriage following her IVF journey. The sister of J-Hope shared her experience in a candid update, offering insight into the challenges she has faced while trying to start a family.

In a recent video, Ji-woo explained that she began in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment in November last year after deciding to take a step back from her busy routine. She shared that the process was both physically and emotionally demanding, but something she pursued with hope and determination.

Speaking about the outcome of her first attempt, she revealed, “I experienced a chemical pregnancy,” referring to an early miscarriage that occurs shortly after implantation. She added that the initial embryo transfer did not result in a successful pregnancy, calling it “unfortunate news,” but emphasised that she has since been focusing on recovery and healing.

Ji-woo also spoke about how she coped with the setback, explaining that she learned such outcomes can be common during IVF journeys. Despite the disappointment, she maintained a calm and resilient outlook. “I’m really okay now,” she reassured her followers, adding that she is prioritising her health and well-being moving forward.

The influencer revealed that she had taken a break from her public activities for several months to concentrate on both her physical and mental health during the process. She acknowledged that the journey was not easy but expressed gratitude for the support she received from those around her.
