Aamir gets birthday love
Turning 61 on Saturday (March 14), Aamir Khan received a rather touching shout-out from veteran actor Saira Banu, who took a trip down memory lane to recall how the superstar quietly stood by her during the illness of her late husband, the legendary Dilip Kumar. Sharing the anecdote on social media, she wrote, “Just a few days ago, when Aamir Khan arrived to see me, accompanied by Gauri [Spratt], my heart was filled with a warmth that only the presence of dear and familiar souls can bring.”

Saira went on to praise the actor’s kindness and sincerity, describing him as a “gracious, thoughtful, and gentle person”. Reflecting on his bond with Dilip Kumar, she added, “His admiration for Dilip Sahib, was never merely that of an admirer from afar. It was a regard born of genuine affection that revealed itself time and again through the years.”

Sunny Deol has a long to-do list for his upcoming slate of films. The actor has finally locked Telugu filmmaker Boyapati Srinu to direct Jaat 2. The production house was initially considering Gopichand Malineni, who helmed Jaat (2025), but the director was busy with other projects. Boyapati has previously directed the Akhanda franchise, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. With the captain of the ship now in place, one assumes the voyage ahead might just get smoother.
