The behind-the-scenes footage before the final cut adds an emotional layer to the already stirring track. But these intimate moments throw light on Salman’s comfort and natural ease around animals, something long known to his fans.

In an industry where most large-scale sequences utilise production animals, which are trained for this purpose, the fact that Salman chose to use his own horse adds a personal dimension to the cinematic spectacle. It is not just a scene but an element portraying trust, intimacy, and companionship.

About Battle of Galwan

The film is inspired by the real-life clash between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan Valley of eastern Ladakh on the night of June 15–16, 2020.

The unit was shooting a celebratory song in Gorai, after which they moved to a set that had been constructed at Golden Tobacco in Vile Parle. The special dance number was wrapped by February 12, following which only a two-week shoot remained of the war drama,

Battle of Galwan is produced by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films, with Apoorva Lakhia at the helm as director. The film promises an unflinching portrayal of bravery, sacrifice, and resilience. The film also stars Chitrangada Singh in a pivotal role.
