Kartik Aaryan is one of the bankable actors in the industry, and he has proved it time and again by showing his versatility on screen. He is all set to collaborate with Kabir Khan after Chandu Champion, and the film sees him essaying the role of a coach. The yet-untitled film is based on the life of Tajamul Islam, India`s youngest kickboxing world champion.
Kartik Aaryan to play coach in Kabir Khan’s next
As per reports by Variety, the actor has undergone massive training to prep for the project. “Kartik is believed to have undergone intense physical training for his role. He essays a coach who helps a young Kashmiri girl reach the championship from a conflict-affected region. Shooting has already kicked off in Kashmir, with Kartik having finished his first schedule and set to resume full-fledged shooting in March. The film will largely be shot in Srinagar and Pahalgam and is expected to be wrapped by October 2026, targeting a theatrical release in mid-2027.”
The film is based on a real-life story, a genre Kabir Khan masters. A source told the portal, “The yet-untitled film is based on the life of Tajamul Islam, India`s youngest kickboxing world champion and the first Kashmiri to win a sub-junior world championship. A young kickboxer from North Kashmir`s Bandipora district, she achieved that feat at the age of seven.”

On the work front, Kartik is also doing one more film based on true events. After completing Kabir Khan’s project, he will dive into Shimit Amin’s Captain India. He plays a captain who spearheaded one of India`s most successful rescue missions. The film is based on Operation Rahat, a mission to evacuate citizens from a war-torn country.
Kartik is currently shooting for Dharma Productions’ Naagzilla: Naag Lok Ka Pehla Kaand. The film promises a massive scale, heavy VFX, and a completely new physical and emotional transformation for him. His upcoming lineup also includes Anurag Basu’s musical romance with Sreeleela, expected to release in theatres later this year. The film, initially touted to be Aashiqui 3, is now titled Tu Meri Zindagi Hai. It is one of his most anticipated films.
