Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday, February 26, said Maharashtra is on course to become a 1 trillion dollar economy by 2029-30, provided the state does not face a major drought.
Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, he said, “In case of any adverse situation, the target may be pushed by two years (2032)”.
CM Fadnavis also defended the government’s decision to sign MoUs at Davos, calling it crucial for global investor engagement, and said Maharashtra has surged far ahead of other states in the trillion-dollar race.
