Vijay, Rashmika to host two wedding ceremonies

As per reports in Moneycontrol, the wedding will take place at 10 am as per the muhurtham on February 26. A source close to the couple said, “While the rituals in the morning will happen as per Telugu culture and tradition, another ceremony in the evening will take place as per Kodava community rituals.”

It is to be noted that while Vijay’s family belongs to the Telugu community, Rashmika comes from the Kodava community. Planning two ceremonies underlines the couple’s commitment to respecting each other’s heritage.

More about the VIROSH wedding

The wedding ceremony will take place at Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur. On Sunday, the actor couple officially announced their wedding. Ahead of the sangeet, the pre-wedding festivities featured a cricket bash, adding to a growing collection of personal snapshots from the celebrations — from pool volleyball games with friends to elegant, Japanese-inspired dinners.

The ceremony is described as private and intimate, with only close family and friends in attendance, followed by planned receptions. However, a few industry friends were spotted at the venue. Following their Udaipur wedding, the couple is set to host a grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4, reportedly at Taj Krishna. The reception is expected to be attended by friends, colleagues and prominent members of the Telugu film industry.
