Ganddharv Sachdeva recalls working with Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan

Listen to Suhe Ve Vibe, and you’ll feel you’re in the middle of a big, fat Punjabi wedding. That’s exactly what singer Gandhharv Sachdeva was aiming for as he voiced the celebratory track that blends Punjabi folk music with modern arrangements.

The singer, who went behind the mic with Debanjali B Joshi for the track, says, “There’s nothing more special than a wedding song — music where people don’t just listen, but dance together and sing along. Punjabis across the globe share that emotion, and I wanted the song to speak to all of them.”

Himanshi Khurana (C) stars in the song

Over a nine-year career, Sachdeva has collaborated with many artistes of the Hindi film industry — from Shreya Ghoshal on Tu Zaroorat Nahin to Sunidhi Chauhan on Special Edition Kudi. He views them as learning experiences. “It’s important to take inspiration from the artistes you admire, but at the same time, stay rooted in your originality. Your individuality ultimately defines you,” says Sachdeva, who wants to create music in Hindi, Punjabi, and Haryanvi.
