
The roaring success of KGF has made Yash a household name. After a much-deserved break from the spotlight, the actor is now back in action as he gears up for his next much-awaited film, Toxic. The Kannada actor is currently filming the film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geetu Mohandas. Meanwhile, a video from the sets of the film has leaked online.

As usual, he exudes effortless style and attitude, which he is best known for. His swag and attitude in KGF as Rocky Bhai made him a national icon.

About Toxic
Toxic features a stellar ensemble cast alongside Yash, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair. According to reports, Kiara has already wrapped her portions, while other cast members are expected to join the schedule soon.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, who is known for her distinct storytelling and cinematic realism, the film is set to present Yash in an intense new avatar, a departure from his KGF persona, but with the same magnetic energy.
Notably, Toxic is being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English. The makers also plan dubbed versions in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Ugadi and Eid. This makes it one of the most anticipated festive releases of next year.
Interestingly, Yash’s Toxic is will clash at the box office with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, as well as Indra Kumar’s Dhamaal 4 featuring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Jaaved Jaaferi.
