Grammy 2026: BTS members Jin, J-Hope and RM submit their solos, will they win?

BTS has yet to win a Grammy, despite receiving five nominations over the years, including consecutive nominations from 2021-2023. While their military service required a brief hiatus in 2024, the K-pop group is back in the race. The only exception is that in 2026, the race is for its members Jin, J-Hope, and RM, who have submitted individual work as soloists.

BTS has been eyeing a Grammy for years. And, while things appear to be going well each year, they gradually fall out of the group`s control. With this year`s submissions beginning and the formal announcement of nominations still anticipated, ARMYs are focusing on the aforementioned trio.

Will BTS win Grammy this year?

According to reports, Jin submitted his album Echo for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. His track Don`t Say You Love Me is nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance.

J-Hope, on the other hand, reportedly submitted his smash tune Killin` It Girl for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video categories. Mona Lisa hopes to be nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Global Music Performance in 2026, as well as Song of the Year and Record of the Year for Sweet Dreams.

Meanwhile, RM has reportedly added his collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, Neva Play, as a contender.

BTS`s tracks Dynamite and Butter, as well as a feature on Coldplay`s album Music of the Spheres, have previously received Grammy nominations. Even the group`s performance on Butter in 2022, which was reminiscent of Mission Impossible, remains a memorable moment for their followers. However, no win has remained a source of contention for its large global audience, who have often accused the Grammy Awards of exploiting BTS` fame to promote attention but not proper recognition.

BTS members celebrated Chuseok

Recently, BTS celebrated Chuseok, Korea`s harvest festival, by sharing emotional words and happy moments with its fans. The members turned to Weverse and Instagram to wish everyone a good Christmas, dressed in traditional hanboks and expressing their joy and appreciation. Jimin asked fans if they were enjoying good Chuseok cuisine, while J-Hope posted photographs of his family`s festive supper along with a happy message. V (Taehyung) expressed a desire for traditional pancakes (jeon), and Jin added his typical sense of humor to lighten the mood. Their messages, full of excitement and sincerity, revealed BTS`s profound connection to Korean culture and their global fan base, transforming the festival into a shared moment of love and celebration.
