Bollywood actor Ronit Roy has revealed shocking details about Saif Ali Khan`s attack incident. He shared that Kareena Kapoor Khan`s car was “attacked” shortly after her actor-husband, Saif Ali Khan, was stabbed at their Mumbai residence. The actor was attacked by a trespasser in the wee hours of January 16. Ronit revealed that although the incident involving Kareena wasn`t serious, it left the actress shaken.
Ronit Roy reveals an attack on Kareena Kapoor
For the unversed, Ronit Roy`s security agency was hired by Saif and Kareena for their protection when the incident took place. During a recent interview with Hindi Rush, Ronit shared details about the sequence of events that unfolded following the attack on the actor.
Ronit shared, “Saif was returning home after being discharged from the hospital. There was a huge crowd, and the media were everywhere. When Kareena was also heading back home from the hospital, her car was slightly attacked. So she got scared. Since there was media around, people also got too close, and her car was shaken a bit. That’s when she asked me to bring Saif home. So I went to pick him up, and once he reached home, our security was already in place, and we also had strong support from the police force. Now, everything is fine.”
Ronit also mentioned that he did a recce at Kareena and Saif`s Bandra home soon after the attack on the actor, and he found out that security measures were not in place. He also stated that he advised them about what needs to be kept in mind for safety at home.
Saif Ali Khan stabbing incident
On January 16, 2025, Saif Ali Khan was attacked during a robbery attempt at his Bandra residence. The actor was stabbed multiple times by the intruder, who arrived to steal, when the actor tried to protect his youngest son, Jeh. Although the intruder managed to flee, Saif rushed to the Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent a long surgery.
A 2.5-inch piece of the blade was also extracted from his spine after a five-hour-long surgery. After a massive manhunt, the Mumbai Police managed to nab the intruder. However, the incident left the family scarred. Kareena has also requested the paparazzi not to follow her children Taimur and Jeh, around and click them following the incident.
