​Thane-bound local detained at Ghatkopar after passenger gets trapped 

A Thane-bound Mumbai local train was detained at Ghatkopar station on Friday evening after a passenger, attempting to de-board, got caught between the train and the platform. The incident occurred at 8.02 pm, during the peak-hour rush, causing a delay for all trains behind.

The line was cleared by 8.11 pm, restoring normal operations.

A spokesperson from Central Railway (CR) confirmed the incident, stating, “The passenger was attempting to de-board the moving train and sustained injuries. He has been taken to Rajawadi Hospital for treatment.”
