Vought Rising first look out: Jensen Ackles, Aya Cash return to The Boys world 

After seven years of intriguing plots, jaw-dropping action and unfiltered superhero satire, The Boys dropped its curtains with the Season 5 finale. But there’s still more left to explore in the Vought Cinematic Universe. Prime Video has unveiled the first look of Vought Rising, the much-awaited prequel set in the universe of The Boys. Starring Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, the series explores the dark origins of Vought International in the 1950s and promises another twisted chapter from the hit franchise ahead of its 2027 premiere.

Prime Video today revealed the first look at Vought Rising, the highly anticipated new series set within the world of the multi-Emmy Award-winning global phenomenon, The Boys, starring Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash. The electrifying teaser offers a first glimpse at the next chapter, premiering in 2027.

Vought Rising marks the further expansion of the global franchise. Set in the 1950s, the prequel series explores the twisted origins of Vought International. The teaser offers a diabolical first look at the world and story that will define this next evolution of the franchise.

All series in The Boys universe stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Vought Rising will star Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, who will also serve as producers. The series also stars Mason Dye, Will Hochman, KiKi Layne, Jorden Myrie, Nicolo Pasetti, Elizabeth Posey, Ricky Staffieri and Brian J. Smith.

Paul Grellong will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Ori Marmur, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Michaela Starr and Jim Barnes also serve as executive producers on the series. In the final season of the 2019 American satirical superhero television series, Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry and Cameron Crovetti came together once again.
