KBC 17: Amitabh Bachchan reacts to Diljit Dosanjh not liking his THIS film 

Diljit Dosanjh, a Punjabi musician and actor, will make a major appearance on Amitabh Bachchan`s show `Kaun Banega Crorepati 17`. The episode, which has garnered recognition for its blend of genuine discourse and humour, included Dosanjh discussing his philanthropic activities in response to the recent Punjab floods and offering a lighter criticism of one of Bachchan`s flicks. Dosanjh`s participation also demonstrated his dedication to aiding humanitarian operations in Punjab.

The episode will air on October 31. In one of the promo videos, Dosanjh discussed Big B`s portfolio and revealed which films he dislikes.

Amitabh Bachchan introduced Diljit Dosanjh to the audience as `Punjab ka Puttar` and embraced him enthusiastically on set. Dosanjh wore a blue T-shirt, black jeans, and a white turban to showcase his signature flair. The conversation provided a lighthearted tone for the broadcast, thanks to the two celebrities` natural connection.

During the show, Dosanjh elicited chuckles with his honest comments regarding one of Amitabh Bachchan`s films. Sitting in the hot seat, Dosanjh addressed the legendary actor, “When your films were released, I used to be thrilled. There would be action, and I`d enjoy it. But, sir, there was one of your films that I didn`t enjoy. Bachchan instantly answered, “Which one?” Dosanjh responded: “Saudagar, sir! There was an announcement that Amitabh Bachchan`s film was coming out, and you were merely selling jaggery in it.”

The discussion elicited laughter from both the host and the audience, emphasizing the casual attitude on set.

Dosanjh also disclosed that his participation in the quiz show was motivated by a desire to contribute to the ongoing flood relief efforts in Punjab. The artist responded to a person on social media who asked, “How was the experience in KBC?” by saying, “It`s for the Punjab flood.” Any profits from the episode are expected to go toward aid initiatives for those devastated by the floods, demonstrating Dosanjh`s dedication to humanitarian endeavours.

Dosanjh, who has previously supported flood-affected areas, has adopted ten villages in Gurdaspur and Amritsar in partnership with NGOs and local officials. His team indicated that urgent relief activities are ongoing, and that as the floodwaters recede, long-term rebuilding will begin. Dosanjh`s team wrote on Instagram, “Together, we can rebuild,” echoing the campaign`s urgency and confidence.

The episode also drew renewed attention to the situation in Punjab, where relief and rehabilitation operations are underway. Dosanjh`s project, which involves the adoption of villages and collaboration with local officials, continues to be a focal point for both fans and the larger community.

In addition to his humanitarian efforts, Diljit Dosanjh is prepping for his next film project, `Border 2`, in which he will star opposite Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty.
